At the Marc Jacobs show in New York last night, Victoria Beckham showed off a new haircut that, I’ll admit, I find simply awful.  Love you, Victoria…but–oof!–not this crop.

Jennifer Lopez, meanwhile, has a smug smile on her gorgeous face (she’s been looking stunning recently–love her classic J Lo smoky eyes and honey-colored lips!), like, “Oh, hell, no, you didn’t cut your hair like that.”

Vanity Fair, official curators of the International Best-Dressed List, have released their 2008 picks.  Winners include our girl Kate Middleton, Ivanka Trump, David Beckham, Kanye West–who I saw just this afternoon, sporting neon green jeans and purple kicks–and Zac Goldsmith, who is glamorous enough by himself, but finds his quotient zooming through the roof by virtue of the fact that his eco-chic wife is named Sheheradaze.  Filthy rich names, indeed.

Surgery or not, Ivanka Trump is undeniably beautiful…and smart, aussi!

Please don’t yell at me, but there is something about Victoria Beckham that, inexplicably, I love.  So much of what she represents is kind of icky and sad…and yet she actually seems like a really cool, family-oriented, savvy, fierce chick.  (At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter what I think about Posh, since she’s laughing all the way to the bank and I’m just sitting here dumbly pondering whether she’s genius or ridiculous.)  This Juergen Teller-shot Marc Jacobs ad campaign makes me feel similarly meh?  On the one hand, what in God’s name is going on here?  And why?  And, just, ew.  Yet, on the other, these are the most interesting, unsettling advertising images I’ve seen since the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Badgley Mischka-meets-The Shining campaign from two years ago.
