Princess Catherine…  (Yes, that’s how Kate Middleton really spells her name.)  It has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?  Royal/Kate-style watchers were yesterday given the clearest indication yet that Kate Middleton will officially soon join The Firm with her all-in-the-family appearance at Prince William’s Order of the Garter ceremony.  Kate’s impeccably tailored suit, whimsical hat, and perfectly groomed hair and makeup are, as always, regal!

Next time you’re in Blighty, pop by the Whisky Mist, the latest venture from the owners and promoters of royal-favorite Mahiki.  It’s located in the Hilton on Park Lane, where the terrible club Zeta used to be, and is aiming for a chic, older, upscale crowd.  Promoter Guy Pelly is one of Prince William’s closest friends, so where he goes, the Sloanies (ah, yes, they’re still alive and well!) follow.

Prince Harry’s girlfriend Chelsy Davy coming out of Whisky Mist last night in London.  I don’t know if this is her natural color (very possible) or just a wonderfully subtle highlighting job, but Jolie likey

Forbes.com has released their list of The 20 Hottest Young Royals, which catalogues the creme de la creme of unmarried royals under 35 years old.  So, alas, recently married Peter Phillips didn’t make the list, but those hottie Swedes did (Crown Princess Victoria, Carl Phillip and Madeline are all in serious relationships, but still technically on the market).  My personal favorite royal (collect them like trading cards!) Charlotte Casiraghi came in at number 5, after Prince William, Prince Harry, Zara Phillips and Princess Beatrice.  How Charlotte–Grace Kelly’s granddaughter and a dead ringer for Angelina Jolie–isn’t a bigger media darling is beyond me, but lucky for her, as she gets to have her rich, privileged, gorgeous cake and eat it in relative privacy, too.  C’mon–she’s stunning!
