For most of us, a flawless complexion is a perfect storm resulting from an array of factors: healthy diet, lack of stress, proper skincare, and some good old fashioned makeup tricks.  (Sure, there are drinkin’, smokin’, stressin’, makeup-to-bed-wearin’ exceptions to every rule, but we speak not of these strange aliens.)

I don’t know about you, but I notice a huge difference in my skin when I don’t get enough sleep, when I eat too much candy, and when I’ve been partying like it’s 1999.  Thankfully, to offset the occasional indulgence, I have the makeup routine down pat (love you, Bare Minerals!) and pamper my skin with the best products I can find. Here, a few of my favorites for keeping it glowy, pretty and happy!

   Thanks! Have you ever tried the DHC line? I have always been tempted to try their cleansing oil, but it’s a bit pricey so I’ve been sticking with my standard Cetaphil.

   I love Bare Minerals too! I got the new Advanced Beauty Tool brushes (which are animal free) and I love using with Bare Minerals!
