Blake Lively on the December Marie Claire cover
Holy sex kitten, Miss Lively! We shall not comment on the artfully-shaded and insanely perky cleavage at left (oops, we just did), but there’s no denying that Blake Lively is as gorgeous, sexy and cute as it gets.
On the cover of December’s Marie Claire, Blake’s chest takes center stage (let’s be real) but her shiny, wavy, flowing locks are also to die for. Personally, I don’t like the Homeless Hippie Hair the stylists on Gossip Girl usually give Serena–she always looks like she’s one roll in the sack away from dreads–so I am firmly on board with the clean, non-fuzzy hair shown here.
For waves like this, use a flat iron with rounded edges (mine is the FHI Ceramic 1″) and quickly run it down the length of hair, twisting the flat iron away from the face once (for shorter hair) or twice (for long hair) as you slide the iron through strands. It will give a less perfect coil than a curling iron, and creates very slight waves. Finish with a spritz of shine spray. And then rock a black bustier and unbuttoned pink cardigan, cause why not?
More photos of Blake Lively from the Marie Claire shoot, after the jump:

Don’t kill yourself just yet. Yes, she is gorgeous, but the above photo is generously airbrushed, and–do I have to say it?–there have also been some cosmetic enhancements along the way.

Great hair, cute nails.

Did Marie Claire just turn into Maxim?

Gorgeous…but the question remains! Very Brigitte Bardot.

The big secret is that Marie Claire has always been Maxim, it just hides it a little better sometimes =P Still, the shoot looks great, and I absolutely adore Blake Lively.
(You know you’re way too obsessed with beauty when you really DO look at her gorgeous locks before suddenly noticing she is lacking a shirt.)

Ok, I want a personal airbrusher like THAT! Umm can someone explain to me how she went from what is probably a B-cup, at best, to a sudden DDD? Seriously, can the airbrusher work reverse magic on me?

…or maybe she wore some chicken cutlets? Remember Paris Hilton’s boobs?
Cutlets or no cutlets, airbrushed or non-airbrushed, she’s a gorgeous girl. Glad MC decided to maxim-ize the December issue

Jolie I love reading your posts, but I can never take your advice on products and techniques. Bare Essentials dries my face so bad that it flakes, Elnett gives me no hold, and to achieve Blake’s hairstyle I use hot rollers. We are all so different, aren’t we?! Thanks for such a great blog!!

Come on - you all know that hair isn’t real?! Its extentions, and she admitted it in an interview with Vogue (or was that Allure?) some time ago.

She’s absolute perfection.
