YouTube Makeup Guru Videos
Recently, I’ve been spending endless time on YouTube, greedily gobbling up makeup videos by other beauty bloggers. They’re incredibly addictive! (Yes, that was me on YouTube this Saturday night at 1:30 am, thank you for asking! I really embody the rock star lifestyle, don’t you think?)
My two favorite video gals at the moment are All That Glitters 21 and Lollipop 26, both of whom are cute as a button, and know their stuff when it comes to easy, pretty makeup application. (I should be wearing eyeshadow base? News to me! Your fair Jolie learns something new every day…) Watching so many excellent tutorials has inspired me, and I’ve resolved to do more videos myself in the immediate future, particularly seeing as I am so behind on my product reviews and need to get the old self in gear on that front. Of course, I’m a bit of a technology idiot, so I need to relearn how to use my webcam, but in the meantime…that’s what the Flip cam is for, no?

All the makeup brushes flying fast and furious, meanwhile, led me to research the best brushes. MAC seems to make the most popular ones, as all the cool kids won’t shut up about how amazing they are. Looks like it’s time to begin amassing my own collection! (I’ve used several of the MAC brushes over the years, and they are indeed amazing, but I currently only own the 129 blush brush.) Have you tried any of the Crown brushes? So good and so affordable. I have one Foundation Brush that MUA James Vincent rec’d at The Makeup Show which is a dream and was only $5. I know lots of MUA’s rec them, too.
Just a thought to pass along. Off to lose myself in makeup vids now…..

The only guru for me is Carmindy. I love Sally Hansen Natural Beauyy inspired by Carmindy! Awesome colors, paraben-free, and amazing drugstore prices!

I do not like MAC brushes too much…they keep shedding and leave so much hair behind. Even cheaper Sephora bruhes do not do this that much.
By the way I love Lollipop 26 too : ) and you will be making her even more popular. Great blogger!
