Splurge vs. Save: Home Fragrance

Jolie’s nose is so sensitive that she used to avoid entire smell-offender blocks in New York City (what was up with you, 85th and Lexington?).  As you can imagine, this sensitivity extends to the personal and home arenas–I’m always doused in perfume, have gum on hand, and keep my apartment stocked with yummy home fragrances.  My two personal favorites are at completely opposite ends of the financial spectrum: Method Aroma Pill is superaffordable (only around $10!) and highly potent, available at drugstore.com.  Antica Farmacista Home Ambiance Fragrance, meanwhile, will set you back scores of clams ($62), but is glam and fabulous and to-die-for in a quietly amazing way.  Obviously, I use them both, whenever humanly possible.

The Antica Farmacista in cedar and lemon is my fave.

yes! I don’t know why but 85th and lexington makes me choke! I think it must be the subway fumes from below?
