Miley Cyrus and Max Azria ink Wal-Mart deal
I was obviously much more excited about this photo than Max was
When Jolie first moved to LA, Max Azria became one of her big, cool friends, and she was lucky enough to be invited with him out on the town a time or three. She eventually lost his phone number, and Max and his limousine became a thing of Jolie early-Hollywood lore, like the Josh Hartnett story, or the Sean Penn incident. (Sigh. Those were a fun few months!) Adulthood, we rue you.
In any case! WWD is reporting that Max Azria and Miley Cyrus have hooked up, in a manner of speaking, to produce a junior line for Wal-Mart called Miley Cyrus and Max Azria. According to the report:
The trend-right collection will bow in all Wal-Mart stores and on walmart.com in early August, the sources said, adding the line will include tops, pants, graphic T-shirts and shoes, priced under $20.
Miley’s world-domination continues.

I adore the BCBG line, but finding out Max Azria was collaborating with Miley admittedly ruined some of the magic for me. It’s not that I’m against the cheap designer lines at Wal-Mart and Target - in fact, I love them. Therefore I have no choice but to blame Miley…
