The reason celebs look so good when they step off the plane is the same reason people in the '50s and '60s looked so good -- they aren't/weren't crammed into economy class and made to pay for their food, drinks, blankets and pillows! When you fly first or even business (especially internationally), it's still quite comfortable. It's just coach that's hell now.

I don't think it's weird. I'm all about my lululemon pants when I'm flying. They instantly make me look two sizes smaller than I am and they're super-comfortable, so I know that at least I look decent even if I am just wearing yoga pants.

I don't think travel is supposed to agree with anyone. Let's face it, you're flying around in a big box that just constantly recycles the same air and they always have it cold enough to warrant taken a down jacket with you, even if you're flying in to Florida...

I'm with you, Jolie. I always end up with an oily face, large pores (why?!!), flat hair, and for some reason just generally dirty and frumpy looking. Sigh. Maybe Mikaela can share some tips...

This is exactly what I blog about!
Trying to stay pretty while flying (and take if from me, I was a flight attnedand and my sister still is) is hard with everything that's fighting against you. Sunglasses are essential, you can wear no eye makeup and no one knows. A chic bag keeps the look upscale yet relaxed and a scarf/shawl is a must! It's multi-purpose useage is priceless while traveling.
Keeping up on your beauty while traveling is difficult too, but I've got secrets for that since I'm also an esthetician!

Even her hair still looks perky.

I've been on a number of international flights where passengers remove their shoes and proceed to wander all over the plane in socks or BAREFOOT. In the bathroom even! I don't care what class I fly, my bare feet will never touch the floor of an airplane bathroom.
