I started collecting an arsenal if headbands two years ago when I was working at Starbucks. I figured if my outfit had to follow the white/black/beige/brown dress code, my hair accessories would at least allow me to express some character and color. So when GG started bringing them back, I was thrilled. On my third day of not washing my hair, I use some dry shampoo, hot rollers (for body) and then throw my hair up with a headband and go.

Speaking of the headbands, Blake's hair looked especially amazing in the episode "The Thin Line between Chuck and Nate" in the scene where Dan tells Serena he loves her. She has it kind of half up, half down with a headband/scarf. It's carefully messy and very boho. Any idea how to recreate the look? Her hair looks so full, I imagine there must have been some extensions used...

I definitely noticed a huge resurgence of the headband on this show. It's kind of crazy because they're not just the thin, elastic headbands that have been popular for the minimalists of late, they're full on, brightly colored, padded, in your face, I'M-A-HEADBAND, headbands. It's insane. I love it!
