Jessica Simpson’s on the cover of September Elle magazine, again.  Am I the only one who did a double take when they saw it?  Why is my beloved Elle obsessed with Jess wearing red flannel shirts and huge-ass belt buckles?  She’s a little bit country.  We get it.

Well, at least she seems happier now!  An obscene amount of mousse was likely necessary to acheive the big Texas hair above…but I still love it.

   I’m guessing some hot roller action too? Is it possible to get that kind of volume with just a curling iron? I suppose anything is possible with Photoshop…

   Photoshop and a few extensions will work wonders. Did no one at Elle think that people might notice the repeat outfit? Just don’t get that.
