Amanda Seyfried at the Mamma Mia premiere
I’m damn excited to see Mamma Mia, despite the fact that I’m not the world’s biggest Amanda Seyfried fan–an opinion that, I’ll admit, is probably not entirely fair. You see, I went to a Matrix Biolage hair/makeup event months ago, right around the time of the Academy Awards, and Amanda was there. Despite the fact that there were other “celebrities” in house, such as a very demure Minka Kelly from Friday Night Lights, Amanda caused a bit of a ruckus in the small hotel suite: she arrived, words were whispered back and forth behind papers, Amanda waited by the door, the back room was cleared, and then Amanda swept by–still wearing sunglasses–to have her hair and makeup done in private. It could have been all her publicist’s doing–I didn’t witness any diva foot-stomping or anything–but the entire scene was just beyond eyeroll-inducing. Here’s hoping it was just a one-off and Amanda’s actually super lovely. As far as Mamma Mia…can’t wait!

that’s so unfortunate that you had a semi-nasty experience with her. i’ve always thought she was absolutely adorable, and a fun, lovable actress (or rather, her characters were.) hollywood and those who base their lives solely on it and all that comes with it can be so sad sometimes.
