Clarisonic, day three
Sooo, the Clarisonic. As promised, I’ve been testing it these past few days, and while it’s too soon to make a serious judgment about it (one way or the other), I’m tentatively pleased. It cleanses thoroughly, it exfoliates well, my skin feels soft and smooth afterwards and it’s just fun to use. During my Clarisonic time, my bathroom is full of birds chirping songs and mice dancing jigs! A good time is had by all!
Seriously, though, my only real concern is the price: the Clarisonic goes for nearly $200…and while it would be the best device ever at, say, $29.99, does it really clean two hundred clams worth? I mean, my skin is still just there, being all skin-like. I haven’t yet broken out, but I’ve not morphed into a supermodel, either. Sadly, the jury is still at recess. I’ll keep you posted on my findings.

You are funny, I bought one too. I have been using it since April. I like the way my skin feels afterwards but I am not sure if my skin is that much cleaner now. You are right it is fun to use. It motivates me to wash my face before bed even when I don’t feel like it.

The only downfall I have is you have to use it consistantly. If I don’t use it for a few days, like when I’m on vacation and am washing my face the old-fashioned way, I always break out. But if I use it regularly, I get great results..

The price does suck but Clarisonic does not! I’ve been using it since Christmas and love it. It made my skin much more smooth… even though I have huge pores. It also removes makeup better than using face soap alone.
Stick with it… you’ll feel a difference.

Hey Jolie,
I was wondering what cleanser you used with the Clarisonic. I just bought one myself and am contemplating on what cleanser would be best with it. I don’t know if I should try the one that came with it or just my usual Neutrogena Cleanser.

Elizabeth, I’ve used the Clarisonic with both the provided cleanser and also with a few of my own favorites. I say experiment and find what works for you. The cleanser they include makes my skin feel soft, so I don’t mind it, but in the mornings, I like to alternate between my old favorites.
