Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara ball in Windsor
Back in my pseudo-glamorous polo days, my player C. was often invited to events like Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara ball, and I’d shuttle along for the ride, taking notes, returning phone calls, plotting intrigue and assuring the girlfriend that, yes, she did indeed look gorgeous. But–always the bridesmaid, never the bride–I never made it past the driveway. Alas. Looks fun!
Elle Macpherson. “The Body” is, believe it or not, 44 years old. Maybe we all be so blessed. (Do we think that’s her real hair, or extensions? Call me crazy, but I suspect it’s real.)
Elizabeth Hurley, by contrast, is aging quite gracefully and is beginning to look like a real 40-something (she’s 43), albeit more beautiful than any 43-year-old I’ve ever met.

There’s something hauntingly beautiful in the contrast between Kelly’s alabaster skin and jet black hair, matched with matte rose lips and lots (and lots) of dark liner and shadow
I’ve resisted writing about Agyness Deyn for ages now, because I simply don’t understand the fascination over her. Not in the slightest. Please, illuminate me! (The guy with her, by the by, is Albert Hammond, Jr, from The Strokes.)

Well Agyness was an amazing high fashion model and great poser, but due to the hype she has become kind of gimmicky.

There’s something classical and vintage about Kelly Osbourne’s beauty. She looks so regal and haughty in that picture — loves it!

I like Agyness because she’s fun, she seems (or at least seemed) modest, and she’s very cute but unconventionally beautiful. How many lanky tan Brazillian models or lanky pale Russian models are there now? Agyness is refreshingly different. But I fear the oversaturation may mean her reign will soon be over.

Elle’s long locks are due to extensions. My colleague was getting her hair done at a fancy salon, and her stylist interrupted their sesh to take a call from Elle. (Tacky.) Comes back and talks about how he has to get new extensions for her, yada yada. Still, they’re really nice extensions.
