New London nightclub alert!
Next time you’re in Blighty, pop by the Whisky Mist, the latest venture from the owners and promoters of royal-favorite Mahiki. It’s located in the Hilton on Park Lane, where the terrible club Zeta used to be, and is aiming for a chic, older, upscale crowd. Promoter Guy Pelly is one of Prince William’s closest friends, so where he goes, the Sloanies (ah, yes, they’re still alive and well!) follow.
Prince Harry’s girlfriend Chelsy Davy coming out of Whisky Mist last night in London. I don’t know if this is her natural color (very possible) or just a wonderfully subtle highlighting job, but Jolie likey

I have to say that as obsessed as I am about speculating when, where and how Prince William and Kate get engaged, I think I have more of a girl-crush on Chelsy. I hope that if she and Harry stay together, she’s still able to keep that wildly independent streak once the royals get ahold of her. I realize she’ll probably become more refined, but to be honest, that’s what I’ve found has made Kate almost become -dare I say it - kind of boring. Harry and Chelsy keep things interesting and I sure hope that she doesn’t lose that edge.

I agree, Tamara. Kate has become a bit bland…although that’s partially what I love about her. She’s almost becoming a tweedy caricature of herself, which seems to suit everybody fine. Chelsy, on the other hand…well, she’s quite obviously the black sheep of the royal girlfriend posse, isn’t she? I hope she sticks around.

The Whisky Mist is a great venue. I have recently visited here and it definatley brings an upmarket crowd through its doors. The venue is great and the crowd is good too, but like all ‘posh’ venues its VERY over priced. Has a great time though. Theres this great website http://www.grandparties.co.uk which actually give honest reviews on over 50 nightclubs so if your looking for somewhere to go read there reviews first because i always do before i go to a nightclun in London.
