Christina Aguilera’s post-baby body on the cover of US Weekly
Something about these fawning “How I Got My Body Back!” cover stories that celebrity weeklies love featuring makes me feel all icky inside. How did you get your body back, new celebrity mommy? Well, you probably worked out with a trainer three hours a day, six days a week, hired a nanny while at the gym, followed a sparse plan set by a nutritionist, perhaps had a tummy tuck and then ate 900 calories in the two days before your photo shoot. That’s how you got your body back.

I hear ya! Isn’t it ridiculously not average? Not to mention, not a healthy way to do it, even though they are working with a trainer. I’ve been doing a doctor watched and regulated weight loss for 11 months now and he says losing one pound a week is ideal and people who lose slowly over time are more likely to maintain their ideal weight.
And thankfully, this way, I don’t ever have to eat only 900 calories a day. I can’t do that. :oP

Thank you! Not to mention that we all don’t have to be 90 lbs and a size 0-2 to be healthy and attractive.

THANK YOU!
I had my daughter 3.5 months ago and let me tell you, I look NOTHING like X-tina! I eat as sensibly as possible and I make every attempt to sqeeze in some excerise a few times a week but I am still wearing my maternity pants! I would love to be back to my regualar size but it took me 9 months to pack on these extra pounds, so I am sure it will take me 9 months to shed them.

It’s horrible to think first of your own body and how to deal with your image in the media than of your baby first.
Sad!

It’s getting sickening to see a cover story every other week on this issue. We get it - they look great after having kids. So what.
