Just read part 1 and forgot to add this tip(I've not been able to keep up on my favourite blogs lately - gone too much but getting back to normal!)

I would suggest a warm mist humidifier for your bedroom. This will help keep the air & your skin hydrated & help with the ickyness that the early stages of retinoids bring. Plus, it just helps the skin look really moist & supple.

Retinoids are the best thing you can do for perfect skin(aside from sun protection). I'm an esthetician & I always get my big gun skincare from the derm. I'm personally partial to tazorac creme .05%, it's insanely strong but you work up to it. I've been using various forms of prescription retinoids since I was in my teens & my derm says jokingly that I'll never age! Don't stop using it, but to find the right one for you, you may need to experiment a little.
