Nadine,

Love your blog and your book.

You have turned me on to Bare Escentuals mineral makeup- but it doesn't seem to last very long on me (gone by lunch). What am I doing wrong? I live in FL-- could it be the humidity?

Also, when I want a bit more glam and polished look, what is a good evening foundation? I'm in early thirties (fighting the clock) but still have oily skin. Skin is also very fair and pinkish so many foundations look so yellow on me.

Thanks!

Sorry, one more. I have the hardest time finding a good night moisturizer for combination skin. Is there one that you recommend? Thanks!!

I have these annoying tan lines on my upper arms that I've had for years now. I got them one summer from driving a lot and not wearing sunscreen (I think). Now, you can see a line on my shoulder where one half is darker than the other. I've been able to even it out with tanner when I wear sleeveless shirts but is there anyway to more effectively even it out? What about using a skin lightener?
Thanks and I love your blog!

What is the best foundation brand/shade(s) for Asian skin? Are we suppose to use something with yellow undertones or red? It's so hard to find a match for my skin (light Asian).

Hello Jolie,

Something I've been wondering about a lot recently is at what age should I start using which anti aging products and creams? I know I've read information in the past but foolishly thought I was ages away from such concerns. However references you and other have made recently have made me begin to worry that I should be beginning to use products. I am 24. I seem to remember once that I should start using eye creams around 25 so I could start preserving elasicity before it begins to deminish.
Any anti aging product time line hints you could give would be Great!!!

Thank you,
Daily reader, Jami

1. Taming frizz for wavy, but fine hair.

2. Does topical HGH (Journee, etc.) really work? (Tres expensive!)

3. Tips on how long active ingredients last and remain effective in products that have SPF, vitamin C, retinoids, etc. How should each be handled/stored?

My biggest beauty concern would be blackheads. Mine seem to be especially stubborn around the chin area and never seem to go away completely even with retinol usage and exfoliation. The only thing that seems to work is a blackhead extractor, though I've had blackheads so tenacious that facialists weren't able to get them out.

Hi Nadine,

I adore your book. In it, you give some fun tips for red lips. I would love some more info concerning other lip products, specific shades, how to pick the right colors, more that are your favorites. Thank you for all that you do and your integrity (not to mention wit). The day is not as bright when there is not a new post to read from you--you have a gift; keep it up!

Can you recommend a deodorant that will not leave marks on my sleeveless dresses and tops? This is my biggest frustration during the warm months.

Mine would be something to tame excessive redness... even though I don't break out that much any more, I still get blotchy!
