Green Cream

When I was in Louisiana recently, I asked the girls of LSU which products they couldn’t live without, and one name kept coming up over and over: Green Cream.  A retinol-based anti-aging, anti-acne treatment developed by New Orleans doctor Nia Terezakis M.D., it’s less irritating than Retin-A thanks to its delivery mechanism, and comes in three strengths (Levels 3, 6 and 9.  I have no idea what the arbitrary numbers refer to!).  Most of the girls—none of whom were over 21—used the lowest (Level 3) or middle (Level 6) versions, which speed cellular turnover without causing the massive irritation that you’d normally expect.  Of course, while using an retinol product, sunscreen is crucial.  That tomato-red, flaking, lizard-person look?  Yeah, not sexy.

This product sounds interesting. I wonder how well it would work with my adult acne. Currently I use Retin A and Duac.

I took a quick look at MakeUpAlley and it had a 77% Buy Again rating. Not bad. I’m currently using the MD Skincare Alpha-Beta Peeling Pads which always makes my skin hot and red, so I wonder if the Green Cream is a better alternative.

Green Cream has done wonders for my acne and overall complexion. I would like to offer some advise to new users, start slow!
