Giveaway: Clean and Clear In-Shower Facial
I simply can’t be bothered with facials. Not only do I find them boring as hell (give me a full-body massage any day!), but they also make my finicky skin break out nine times in ten–and I don’t buy that nonsense about your skin getting worse before it gets better. (Yes, yes, I understand the idea…but following most of my facials, zits spring up because of the pore-clogging oils used during the treatment, I’m telling you!) Now, exfoliation…glycolic acid…fruit enzymes…these are concepts I can get behind. Something that can be done in one minute, in the shower? Even better! I tested out Clean and Clear Soft In-Shower Facial this weekend—you slather it on while in the shower, let the enzymes and acids do their complexion-smoothing thing, and then rinse it off—and while it wasn’t a Presto! Chango! Brand New You! revelation, my skin was undeniably smoother and softer. (Not to mention blissfully un-broken out the next day.) And, you know, that’s good enough for me!
Clean and Clear is giving away ten products to Jolie readers: the first ten gals to reply in the comments section below with your email address and all-time favorite beauty product (hey, I’m curious) will win!

I always break out after facials too…..at least I did, have not had one in years precisely for that reason!! My all time favourite beauty product is the korean ddae soo gun (it’s an exfoliating rag) I started using on my face and body about a year ago and I absolutely love how soft my skin has become, also I get compliments on my glowing skin all the time now.

Hi, Nadine,
I can’t disagree with you more. I had a facial yesterday and instead of boring, it was bliss. The chance to do absolutely nothing but be pampered for an hour or hour and a half (mine was the later) and I’ll jump at it anytime. Besides, my facial lady is so caring that I always trust her to use the right products on me — I’ve never experienced any breaking out. Plus, she always gives me samples.
Of course, I also love massages — but those always involve pain. Not so with the foot, hand, neck, shoulder, and head massage that’s included with my facials.
I urge you to try one again — maybe you’d like to try my person. I bet she’ll change your mind.
Best,
Madeline
